SGGD Exeter 2024

Dear Friends and colleagues,

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the 9th Meeting of the Study Group on Genetics of Diabetes (SGGD), we are pleased to invite you to participate in this exciting meeting that will be held at the University of Exeter, UK.

Starting from its first meeting in Malaga in 2007, the aim of the SGGD is to promote research into the genetic basis of all forms of diabetes and its related conditions, and to encourage the interaction and transfer of knowledge between basic scientists and the clinical community.

The 9th SGGD meeting will be held in Exeter on 17th – 19th April 2024. Like in previous years it will be an opportunity to meet people – scientists, clinicians and other professionals – who actively participate in research in the field of (epi)genomics of diabetes, its complications and related diseases.

The stimulating programme will include a mixture of keynote lectures, invited talks and oral presentations from early-career scientists, as well as poster discussions ensuring an excellent and stimulating scientific environment.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Exeter!
