HNF1B support day 2026

Join us for an information day for HNF1B patients, families, carers and interested clinicians

Date: Saturday 4 July 2026

Time: 10:45 – 16:00

Location: Event hosted online via Microsoft Teams

Hosts: Dr Coralie Bingham and Dr Rhian Clissold

Consultant nephrologists, Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust

Overview:

HNF1B is a gene involved in the development of several organs including the kidneys, pancreas, reproductive tract and liver. People with a change in the HNF1B gene can have a variety of problems associated with these organs. This is sometimes called the renal cysts and diabetes syndrome (RCAD) because these are the most common features. This event aims to provide information about this rare disorder to patients, their families and carers and to clinicians. There will be presentations by experts in different aspects of the condition with the chance to ask questions. There will also be an opportunity to meet up in a virtual environment with other attendees.
